Worried woman with cancer cradles her child

An essential role of DVNQ is to provide Community Education and Training on Domestic Violence issues.

We provide talks, information and training on various issues relating to Domestic Violence. Other topics could include Dating Violence, Violence in Schools and Protective Behaviours.   Using training videos, OHT’s and handouts, each session is designed to suit the individual needs and requirements of the targeted group or service.

Community education and training will be provided in conjunction with various Women’s Services. This cooperation of the services will assist in meeting the varying training needs of agencies. DVNQ supports the professional development of students by providing placements throughout the year.

Should you have a community education or training request, please email us or contact DVNQ on 07 4721 2888.
